VATS retrofit question

Hey guys!

I've got my tuned port setup installed in a 1980 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 truck, and I've got a question or two about the VATS setup, and if I can retrofit it into my truck.

First and foremost, will the key cylinder from the parts trans am fit into my truck's column? Next, what all is involved with installing the starter kill relay? Is it intergrated into the grey passkey control module, or is it an external thing?

Is there anything else that the TA might have that my truck won't?

I've got two keys for the TA, and all the wiring is intact. (still in the car) I figure that it is probally worth it to just install the setup into my truck instead of just bypassing it into the prom. If it prevents the truck from being stolen, then it was time well spent installing it.

Once it starts to fail (wiring in the cylinder, relay, etc).. it does best at preventing you from taking your own vehicle.

If someone really wants your ride.. 15-30 seconds with car dollie jacks or a rollback...... VATS is quite useless.
