Ok, a couple of weeks ago my temp guage and oil pressure guage started to come and go as it pleases, (Digital Dash) mostly I would turn the car on, and they would sometimes come on, sometimes one wouldnt, now, when im driving the temp guage will appear after a little driving, it will start at 120 and raise up to the 190-220 range.
I had my oil changed two days ago, switched to synthetic, after I ran my car WAY to low on oil on accident, the guy said the oil coming out of the car was really gummy, and he thinks my oil sending unit might be messed up now.
But now, ill be driving at crusing speed, start to slow down, and my pressure pops up at 60, but when I give it gas, the indicator will dissapear, then return to 60 when i slow down again. as if the pressure is going higher then 60.
Will new sending units fix these problems?

 

quite possible. I would call the gauge manufacturer and see what their tech dept says.
