Tach Connector at Coil, Wire Broken.
I just go my car out of the shop, long story.
When they brought it around out front, I noticed the Tach was pinning itself home. I turned the car off and turned the key to "on" and noticed that instead of the Tach needle homing, it went up to 3k. Once the engine was started, the needle would pin itself home. They said I had a problem with it before I brought it in, or it was a bad coil, as they had replaced it with an AC/Delco part (I provided). Of course it was working fine before I brought it in.
Well I got home took my manual out, and noticed the black connector and the grey connector on the Tach are swapped, or at least according to the Shop Manual they are. Of course the shop manual could be wrong?
Well I went to swap the location of the connectors, and as soon as I grabbed the grey connector, a cable popped out from the connector head! Now my Tach will not move at all!
Is there anyway that I can obtain a new "blade" style head to just re-crimp on that wire and place it back into the connector? Or do I need to find a new connector with some lead of wire on it, and splice it together?
I want my dash tack working again, as for now I cannot afford an aftermarket Tach.
P.S. I also noticed in the Shop Manual, that for my vehicle, the Coil is the same for all engine sizes, that use an external coil, 4cyl through 8cyl. Of course the manual could be wrong?
If anyone can help, or even sell me the connector with some wire still attached to it, it would be greatly appreciated!

The coils are the same in our vehicles and you can find a nice wiring harness by visiting the local yank and haul. Also known as the junkyard, remove a nice section of the wire and splice it in.
