How to remove alternator drivebelt on v belt model cars

I'm having trouble removing the alternator drivebelt on my car, it is a v belt. I know this is a simple question, but I can't seem to get it off, I tried using a wrench and removing the belt blocking it, but it simply twists and moves like it should. Can anyone tell me how to remove this belt, thanks.

P.S. I know I need a new camera, the battery keeps dying so I can't use any focusing features

Loosen the alternator pivot bolt on the bottom slightly, loosen the bolt in the slot on the bracket at the top, rotate the alternator and pull the belt off.
