Lights flickering

My lights flicker at idle and less while running. Last I checked (about 2 months ago) my Alt. belt was tight. Since it flickers with the rpm's of the engine. I'm wondering if there is something more serious thats internal. Can its still be the belt? Would it make a diffrence if it was super tight or less then a 1/4 inch of play? Or can it be something else?

It's probably a ground wire that's loose, and since the engine vibrates the whole engine bay, the wire does too, along with its rpms.

last time I had that my alternator was dying. It turned out that some fluid was busy destroying the electronics. After it died, I found out. I think it was only partially working for a certain time and thus causing the flicker
