Stereo Problem?

I Installed my new headunit the other day and the guy before didnt know what he was doing with all the wiring in there. So I hooked everything up and it works fine but is only getting power when the ignition it on. So basically im looking for a wire that is on all the time to save my settings and keep my clock right? Its a pain to keep resetting everything i start my car you know?

Thanks,

Should be an orange wire back there somewhere that is B+. Always check with a meter.

You have this posted going here and in the car audio forum. It's easier to keep track of things if you post one question in one forum.

wiring

Dude, look up your deck online and get the wiring schematics from the manufacturer, unless you have an ancient deck or an obscure brand, you can find anything online these days.
