My lights on the '89 go up but won't go down.....Reversed the wires and the motor works both ways. Am I to assume that the problem is in the switch? Are there fuses in line for these lights? And where are they? Couldn't find em'.

 

More likely the controller. Its mounted on the firewall (black box with GUIDE marked on it).
