guys, i'm finishing up on an 84 Camaro V6 to V8 conversion, every thing is going good except for my wipermotor. i've used an 82 Trans-Am engine harness and every thing accept one wire that powers the exterior lights (running only i belive) was the same. i fixed that one wire and now have all my lights and horn ect. however, the plug on the wiper harness is different between the two cars,and the body where the motors mount are also different, ( i was going to use the 82 motor, but that didn't work) does anybody know what it takes to wire the 82 harness for the 84 wipermotor? even some wiring diagrams from gm or some other source would be helpful. thanks guys....

Is it the connector for wiring for the wiper motor or do you have a mis-match at the bulk head (firewall) connector?

 

the plugs are different, i dont think there's any difference at the bulk head, that was part of my question is does any one know of any difference besides the plug at the motor....

 

This is for a non-pulse wiper?

 

its a pulse wiper motor, and the harness is for a pulse motor....

 

How many wires go to the motor and what colors are they?
