Engine: 5.0 v8 (305 TBI)
Transmission: Auto
WHAT WIRE TO USE??

am in the middle of fitting a sweet @ss digital water temp for my 1983 Trans am, but i dont know what wire to connect to for the power i want it to come on when the engine is started and off when the engine is switched off and i dont want to do any damage as i got a auto start on the car and a immobilizer

Axle/Gears: 4.11 spool, 3.73 open, 3.42 posi
you would have to find a wire that is hot in the run position or find a open space in the fuse block that is hot in run
