are the motor assemblies with the 2 pin connectors swapable with the 3 prong connectors, cuz i need a new one for my right headlight. All thats wrong is the gear that the worm gear engages is stripped, but i cant find those anywhere, just the larger one.

You didn't check the obvious places. Our friendly board sponsors have products specific to our vehicles, and it's always a good idea to check their offerings. Here's just one possibility from one sponsor:

Top-DownSolutions.com

If that isn't quite what you need, you may want to check with Lon at TDS. He may be able to source what you need.

Yes you can swap the newer two wire motors for the inferior 3-wire motors (along with all the wiring and relays). The far better solution is to repair your 1987-92 2-wire headlight motor with either the TDS 207280 or TDS 209280 headlight repair kit. What goes bad with these motors isn't the large gear**, but what is inside the gear. There is a reason why you'll find so many of the older 3-wire headlight motors at the pick-a-part yard. You'll be way ahead if you let those motors rest in peace.

**The first time you repair them the bushings are what go bad. If someone has already replaced them with something else (ball-bearings, hex nuts, wooden dowels, **** leather, etc.) then the OD teeth of the gear can be bad. It's no problem if you discover that is the case for you, I also sell aftermarket gears TDS 504040.
