how do you test a MAP/ pressure differential sensor?
I'm getting a check engine code for the pressure differential (MAP) sensor. I have an 86 with a computer controlled carb and 305. I need to know if there is a way to test/check this to make sure if it's the problem or something else. Any suggestions on doing this?

I could be wrong, but I believe you tap on the map with a screw driver while it is running. If it stumbles, it's bad.

I know that that is the trick for MAF sensors... I have no idea about MAP though.
