Fuel Level Sender Wires

I just ordered some new in dash gauges, I ordered 0-160 electronic Speedo, Tach, Oil Psi, Water Temp and Fuel level Gauges, they are the Cockpit Series from VDO. Can anyone tell me what color wires and whether they are in the left or right plug for the factory gauges that comes from the fuel level sender.

Aftermarket Fuel Level Gauges

If you install an aftermarket fuel level gauge that uses the stock sending unit (0 ohms empty and 90 ohms full) the proper wire to tap coming from your stock sending unit is the SOLID pink one located on the right plug for the stock gauges. There are quite a few pink wires with stripes on them so make sure the one you tap is solid pink.
