HELP! CHOKE LIGHT/LOW VOLTS AFTER WARM-UP
I'm new to this site and need some help. After start-up choke light goes on and volts drop significantly. Car doesn't want to stall unless i have some accessories on. Alternator reads 12v. Any help on this would be great. thanx guyz car is 86' 305" auto

If that 12 volts is checked when running I would say you have a charging system problem...alternator/battery?It sounds like the alternator isnt charging and starting to die cause it can't run on battery voltage alone.
