Iīve got at ī89 Trans Am and Iīd like to convert my turn lights into combined turn lights and foglights using an extra bulb. The original fog lights have been converted into parking lights because the swedish law says that the park light have to show the width of the car (which the original park light doesnīt). Another problem is that we canīt combine two different colors, so itīs either white or yellow as head light (or any light that's in the front of the car).

are there any clear park lights to buy for my ī89 Trans Am or do I have make my own?

 

ive never heard of any but wouldnt it be easier to make the fog lights yellow?

 

thatīs one idea, but then when Iīm using the headlights, theyīre white and itīs against the swedish law to combine the white light from the headlights with the yellow light från the park light.

Iīm thinking of changing the turn signal glass to clear plexiglas (acrylic), change the bulb to a yellow one, and adding an extra white lamp. that could work. But it would be easier if the swedish law wasnīt so idiotic some times.

 

so in that case how about making the running/turn lights only come on when u are turning. not with the headlights.

 

thatīs how it is now. the only light exept the headlights, is the fog light that is converted into parking light. If I donīt want to use the headlights all the time, I must combine the parking light with, for example, fog lights.

I bought a pair of turnsignals on ebay, Iīm gonna try to change the glass to a clear one and put an extra lamp in there. Lets see what the cop says
