my formula wont crank over with new motor?
I bought a 89 formula with no motor or trans. The wiring harness that goes on the drivers side was also gone along with the computer. I also have an 82 with a bad body but good motor and trans. So I swapped out motor, trans and harness out of 82 into 89, and now It will not crank over. Everthing is hooked up like it was in the 82.This is all I need to get this 400+ hp bird on the road. PLEASE HELP!

No, it was an 1982 trans am. I had stripped it down over the years it was mostly a drag car. And the 89 formula came with out engine, computer, trans or under hood wiring harness. And yes, I am getting power when I turn the key.

AH HA!!! I figured it out! After lowering steering colume I found ingintion switch. I then checked for power in start only spliced in to that wire( i believe it was the big yellow wire) and connected it to the N.S.S. and thats how I got around the VATS. This is a carb car so i dont think it will work for computer controled cars?
