Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73
HEI distributor
I have a remote mount coil and i'm wondering if a coil in cap HEI distributor will hook right up to the wiring I have? I'm getting rid of my 305 and getting a 350. The new motor has the coil in cap HEI. I also have a MSD 6a ignition box on the 305 with a harness that plugs into the remote mount coil.

The plugs are different, but adapter harnesses are available.
Those distributers are interchangable, if there is nothing wrong with your old one just swap it on to the 350
