Dome light door switches

OK, I an installing an NEW overhead console that is taking the place of the dome light. We are installing a web cam, new lights, and speaker/mike in the console. Now we want to hard wire it directly into the power of the car. Anyone know the wiring for an 84 firebird so we can remove the door switches so we have constant power?
Do we re wire after removal? Can we use the wires already there?
Any help here would be great.

Might consider installing an auxiliary fuse block system such as a kit from Painless, # PRF-70207 from Summit Racing. Will give you 3 constant and 4 ignition hot circuits without cutting into your OE wiring and gives you options to expand later.

Great Idea, but I am wanting to run constant power there and have no need for the done light switches. Not to mention, the passenger side was already removed and the wires for the drivers side were shorting out and the previous owner just disconnected them. So in all escences they are not even connected at the moment but I am afraid that might cause problems later on so I was just gonna bypass them
