what wire to use?

right ive been tring to find the right wire to use to give power to my new digital temp guage but have had no luck tried 2 but it blow the fuses, so i was wondering does anyone know of a wire i can use to give the didtal guage power when the car is started, could i nick it from the radio power wire? and put a bigger fuse in?

if you're looking to just hook it to a 12v source you can just patch it into the radio. what I would do is hook it to one of the "bat" ports on the fuse block. That's where I run my CB from, they're 12v.

The fuse block has two empty ports, either of which can be used (I hook my dual electric fans to one, my fancy-pansy mirror--compass/temp--to the other.
