Need a new cigarette lighter socket

Well the original 92 lighter socket seems to have'd kicked the bucket. I cant plug anything into it without blowing my 20 amp ACC fuse. Can I get a new factory style one (plug-in) or do I need to rewire one to replece the old one? And do aftermarket ones fit in the factory outlet hole? Thanks

I had the same problem. You can use an after market cigarette ligter. i got a chrome one because I think it looks better. Just unscrew the front and back of the lighter mechanism put the new one in and rewire. It should take no more then 20 minutes.
