I've got an 84 berlinetta and I'm going to be swapping out the 305 for late 60's early 70's 350 out of a Corvette. I'm going to be trashing all the smog crap and running the 350 carb'd. I was wondering what I need to do with the computer. I don't know if I should remove it completely or if I need to keep it in the car for the transmission. I plan on bolting the engine up to the 700r4 thats in the car. If I do remove it do I need to change out all the gauges and instruments in the dash...... If anyone has has any experience I'm going to need some input on this one.
