Does your car run at all? If you just need to fix the starter you will need to bypass the starter enable relay. It should be behind the drivers kick panel and behind a piece of black tar paper. To bypass it you just need to ground one of the wires I think it is the only small wire. If you need any more help just ask. Mike

 

Simply bypassing the start enable relay may allow the starter to crank the engine, but it does not provide the necessary signal to the ECM to enable the injectors. They are two separate circuits, and the ECM must get a signal (not just a voltage or ground) from the VATS decode module to enable injector pulses on cranking.

Hey, thanks for the new thread because no one will ever help me on here......As for me working on my car it will start now because there is a carb on it. The person that owned the car b4 me switched it over to carb since they couldnt get it to work. They couldnt get it to work because they broke the key off so they switched the steering colum and couldnt figure out how to get it working.. So, I want to be sure it is possible to get it working without the steering colum. I have everything else....Im at my womans house now, my computer got fried in lightening and it will be fixed the 18th of this month. I wont be on here as much as usual just when im at her house thanks. If there is any more info you can tell me. I also wanted to know if it is possible to switch it back to tune port thanks........
