Question between 1988 350 maf harness and 1989 350 maf harness
Are the engine harnesses from a 1988 Trans am with a 350 and a 1989 Formula 350 going to be the same? Im thinking of sending the trans am harness out to get converted to speed density, and I want to be able to just plug it into my formula and have everything work.
I've read of problems with the C100 and C207 connectors being different between maf/sd camaros/firebirds.
Im hoping that this trans am harness will bypass any headaches. If someone has schematics, that would be awesome too. Thanks!

I could be wrong but, I though S/D started in 89 ?
If so, than yes, they are different. If still MAF, should be the same.
The coolling fan wiring from 87 to 88 is the only thing I know of different.
VATS was not in 88 either (or at least the 88 TPI I put in a friends truck). I dont think that affects the engine harness (in the bay) though. Probably does on the interior side with the signal wire to the ECM (kills the injectors IIRC) and the started disable relay.
