Hey, I have a few questions about one wire alternators. I switch my car to and electric water pump so i bought an Alan Grove mid mount bracket. My car is a 91 and the alternator will not bolt up to it. But it will with one of the older style alternators. But my questions are, one...Can i get an alternator for like a 79 Camaro Z-28 and just use the one power wire to the starter, or... two...what is a cheap way for this to work? And three... Can i remove my 5 rib alternator pulley and put it on the older model alternator?
