rear lights harness 84sc to 86 berli
here is the deal. a friend of mine (quasitraction on the boards) has a 1986 camaro Berlinetta in his garage. this berlinetta has had its digital dash removed in favour of a normal dash from an 84 camaro SC. we have the dash in and all is well, onto the fun...
the rear lights (stop/haz/turn/reverse) harness in the berlinetta is the original berlinetta harness. the other wires in the cabin are from the 84 camaro SC. so to get the lights working we have to mate the two together. lucky for me we have both ends of both connectors, the male and female connectors to BOTH the 84SC's harness AND the Berlinetta's harness.
what i am going to attempt is to make an addapter harness to mate the two together, without having to attempt to cut up wires under the dash. so i have the male connector (that would normally come from the under dash area and go TO the brake lights and stuff) for the 84SC and the female connector (that would go TO the under dash area) for the berli, and i have to solder these together in some meaningfull way. i have posted pictures of both connectors below.
here is what i need:
1.wire diagrams for the 84SC. i only have an 86 firebird manual and none of the colors are the same.
2. wire diagrams for an 86 berlinetta, i think these are the same as my firebird, but i am not sure. i recognise most of the colors.
if anyone can help that would be realy cool. thanks guys...

Tony,
Here's what I have from our discussion earlier. From my Haynes manual, the '84 harness should be like so:
YEL - Left diiectional
DK GRN - Right directional
LT BLU - Tail/Stop (I assume the brake lights)
BRN - Markers/License/Tail
LT GRN - Backup
PNK - ?
Hope this helps
Al

verry much, thankyou.
unfortunatly the 86 berli connector does not appear to be the same as my 86 firebird. but i press on. it will not be to hard to test the colors for the 86 harness as that is all hooked up to the lights inside the car. the 84 stuff would have been dificult to figure out without help.
thanks a bunch al.
EDIT*
ok, after some extensive searching of my service manual i have managed to figure out that the connector on the 86 is C208 (or is on a firebird, and seems to have all the same wires except the lights ones). so if anyone has the pinnout info for C208 that is what i am looking for.
EDIT**
thanks to this post i now know that pin "G" is for the reverse lights, which is the same as my firebird.
EDIT***
i think the pinouts are the same as the birds, just the colors are different. i am going to go ahead and solder it together.
