lockup converter switch?
i've heard you can put a switch on the lockup on the converter, i have a 1989 firebird formula 350 TPI, with a 700-R4 tranny, and i think its locking up at the wrong times...... ill be cruising, then ill let go of the gas, and i will feel a DRAG, and the rpm's will lower, then it will go away, and the rpm's will raise again...... it is especially noticeable on the highway...... i just rebuild my tranny, so i'm NOT taking it apart again
do you guys think this is the sudden drag i'm feeling is the lockup converter locking up when its not supposed to then disengaging? if so, HOW do i put it on a switch so i can lock it up when i want to???
