Radio problem!!!!

OK, so I wired my aftermarket stereo in...and it doesnt work. I triple checked and then triple checked all connections again...NOTHING!!!

Key on, it doesnt power up and the eject button has no power....so no juice from the battery period.

BESIDES the Radio fuse in the fuse box, is there a fuse/fusible link in the All-time power (believe its Orange w/black stripe)????

Im NOT wanting to run a wire from the battery to the inside for my batery power, kinda feels ghetto and Im **** about this kinda stuff.

So is there something I should bel ooking for???

Also, this may have osmething to do with it....I was installing my old radio and i was doing the connections. Well before I taped/covered them up, i turned the key on to make sure it would work. well the radio shifted on my leg and the ACC (yellow i believe) touched the case....quickly turned the key off but it fried the radios output.....

So Im trying to give ALL facts and knowledge her.e..any help?!!?!?!?

thanks!
