Strange wiper problem, help please
Ok, when I turn my wipers on, than I turn them off they wont park. I have to turn the ignition off, than turn it back on and they will park. Also they don't seem to be working at the right speed. I checked the wiring, it's pulse wipers. Should I replace the motor next, than the switches on the steering column. thanks

mine does the same thing.. I was running around.. and the wipers stopped in the center of my windshield for like 3 seconds on delay.. and then no more delay and no more off... had to shut the car off to get them to stop... I figure it is a motor/switch issue.. replace the motor first... then the switch.. since the motor will be the easiest..

Check the wiring to the motor first, pay particular attention to making sure the motor is grounded well.I'm having a similar problem but just starting to troubleshoot it.What I've read so far a bad ground for the wiper motor or the park switch in the motor can cause similar problems.Although I have a finiky cruise control switch so mine may be more deep rooted. As I get into I'll post what I find and hopefully we can help each other.

I wasn't having the same exact problem, but I replaced the electronics, and it works fine. It's nice having pulse wipers, but I don't think they are fast enough, but much better than before. I can't believe they even worked before. thanks
