Choke Heater Relay Noise underdash
I've long since replaced the LG4 in my 86 IROC with a kickass 350 and running a manual choke on an Edelbrock 1405 carburetor.
The choke heater relay always made a buzzing sound when I turned the ignition off. One night after noticing my voltage gauge quite low and my alternator whinning, I turned the ignition off and the buzzing wouldn't stop until I disconnected the battery.
While trying to find my electrical drain, I pulled the "FP Fan" fuse out of the circuit and the Choke Heater Relay started buzzing until I replaced the fuse. Why would it make that sound if I pull the fuse out? There's no power unless there's a short somewhere.
Anyone ever come across this problem before?
