ANOTHER dash light question , NEW ONE

How do you test a dash light dimmer switch? I've tested my remote dimmer and the resistor is not stuck open.....hence my question.

And by the way the easiest way to get to the remote dimmer in the 1990 bird is to take off lower dand it's right in front of you to the left...

Found the problem! For those of you with dash light problems, check the bulbs in the switches on your decklid release and the fog lights. After 2 hours I discovered the fog light bulb was broke -- and I did it! I had to rebuild the switches lsat weekend(they weren't making contact). Tonight I realized the bulb wasn't in straight and one wire was broke off the bulb. So 1 2ohm resistor later (I didn't have a bulb) and the lights are on!
