Wattage to bypass VATS

Is the resistance the wattage running in those vats wire or what would it be. The sales rep at the electronics store said she needed the wattage. Thanks

I used a standard small 1/2 watt resistor. You'll need to know the resistance which you would get from the original key. Just measure with an Ohm meter.

Any wattage should be fine. I would go with a 1/8th or 1/4 watt resistors. Mike

Did you have any luck in this? I am preparing to do the same project and was lucky to find this forum regarding the wattage. I am going to attempt this tonight.
