alarm/window wiring?

okay so ill try and make a long story short, my camaro had an unreliable alarm installed by the previous owner. One day when starting the car the alarm went off for no reason. My girlfriend was trying to get in the passenger door so i tried rolling down the windows to tell her to stop pulling on the door, but the windows wouldnt go down. I got the alarm off and uninstalled it that weekend but the drivers window hasnt worked since. The piece that the switch connects to looks burnt and if i try to roll the window down the connection piece gets super hot.

so will replacing the connecting part fix it? If so where can I get one (its the thing with the 4 slots for the switch to go into) how do i tell If the rest of the wiring ok?

-thanks in advance
