Weatherpack Pin Remover?

I snapped off the lock tab on my IACV connecter from my harness, and I found that you could order them from TPI Parts, but I don't want to splice into the wires, as the wires are fine, and if I don't have to introduce resistance and a corrosion point, I don't want to. What kind of tool would I use to take the pins out, so I could just slide them in to the new plastic piece? I tried searching for pin remover and pin removal, but didn't find anything.

It's usually called a pin extractor. A better-stocked parts store would probably have one somewhere. Lisle makes one that I know of for sure, probably K-D does too, as well as maybe Snap-On, Matco, etc.

In a pinch you could probably improvise something with a piece of thin walled brass tubing from a hobby shop, or a rolled up business card, or who knows what else.

The keeper on a weatherpack is simply a metal tab.Just look down the barrel to locate it and push it down with a paperclip. The pin will then pull out.

I believe the pins on that particular connector has two tabs that have to be simultaneously flattened to remove the pin.

I used a Terminal Tool Kit from Blue-Point. It had the tool (basically a small tube with a fancy handle).
