Re: firebird odometer fix ??? electronic
Though I would update this since I finally got around to fixing the problem.
I wasn't the electric motor that drives the odometer. It was the gear that the electric motor drives was siezed. The fix is easy I just bought a 85mph speedometer and swapped the odometer/trip odometer cluster on the back of the speedometer and now it works perfectly. after the cluster is out takes about a 1/2 hour to replace the odometer cluster.
why did I swap before I am bashed for not just putting the whole speedometer in ... well mine has a 140mph speedo is all and to buy another they get expensive is all, costed me 10 bucks to fix mine.
