Does anyone know of any other test you can do for a 88 gta 5.7 to check the computer if it is good .I was just getting my car running after sitting for a while and while trying to start it it started up and ran for 2 sec and died ,restarted it and ran for 5 sec and died ,now it shows no spark on the wires and no check engine light.I followed the service manual and checked for switched power on the pin 439 on the ecm and constant on #340 terminal on the ecm.I also have no injection pulse on the injectors,does that automatically mean the computer is shot,I also have no SES light.help on this problem would be great.How much is a computer and where can you get them?
