Weird oil pressure gauge problem
Ok guys, after my car is warm, and I stop at a red light, my gaige used to drop to zero..(Even tho I never beleived it) No when the car is hot, and I stop at a redlight the gauge goes CRAZY, spins around (All the way) bounces, jumps, and I mean like crazy...When it is put in neutral it acts normal...Keeps fine pressure while im driving...The motor runs just fine, quite and all so I do beleive it has pressure even tho the gauge says not....Any ideas.???? Bad sending unit, bad wiring, or bad gauge....On another note from time to time my Voltage gauge goes way down, but my digital monitor on my 1,5 farad cap in the back says it never goes under 14 volts, so there my be some dash connection issues..Please help, Thanks Tom....

It sounds like the oil pressure sending unit. My gauge started showing less and less until it showed zero and a new sending unit fixed that.
Get under the car, pull the sending unit connector and check for oil. If oil is coming out of the sensor, it's bad.

Next morning I start the car up, and Woosh...blue smoke out the back in a big cloud. Turns out, my valve guide seats and seals got toasted..
All of this relates because I thought it was a bad sending unit, turned out to be no oil in the motor, im actually surprised I didnt lock the sucker up, I recently had my motor totally rebuilt top to bottom...all for performance
Anyway, make sure there's oil in the tank
