Car: 90 R/S camaro 3.1L stock,
Since the 90 deg alt tested dead at A/Z I gutted the 180 and put it all in the 90.And it came back to life.Actually put out between 150 and 160 by test equipment at Advance auto. The install at this point is pretty straight forward.
I removed the stock alt.
Removed the brkt attached to back of alt and attached to exhaust manifold to allow the new cs144 to fit due to it's rather greater size.
I used the rest of the factory brkts and just bolted this puppy right in place.
There were a few other differances like the long bolt needed to be smaller and the bolt holes for that long bolt have to sit 1 inside brkt and 1 outside brkt. But no biggie there.I'll take pics of that soon as can.
Did have to get a smaller belt Advance auto part number 1000K6 (under that #) 6PK2540 Drive Rite is the brand name.Took 2 trips to figure the belt size. This belt fits perfectly.Almost.I'll paint the tensioner and snap pix to show what i mean.
The weather pack connector is stock 2 wire for my 90 and it poped right in place.Did have to use my step drillbit to make batt connection hole bigger but thats temporary anyways.Plan to upgrade to at least a 8 gage soonest.
Check out the rest of the pix and more to come. This was fun and hope it all helps.

stock connector mines a 2 wire but if i understand the tech i read it realy doesn't matter.Seems the cars are wired 1 way and the alts are set up basicly as plug and play. Each wired internaly so to speak the same way with the cars connector setup to use apprpropriate function offered. Now going from the old style plugs to this new style i dunno but can probably find out with time.

Yet more pix. These are to show the stock alt out and what the stock brkts look like. They are on either side of the belt tensioner. The right 1 goes to the single ear or bolt hole and the bkt on left of tensioner is the support.See the pic of the new alt here it has 2 tabs/boltholes for the long bolt thru the support brkt.I put the front tab inside the front of support brkt and the back tab to the outside of rear of support bkt. Will try to take better pics soonest. If you look real close at the alt pic ya can see the single tab i mean. But good shot of the dual tabs for support bkt.

Yup check out the pix theres the typical 180 pattern and a 90 pattern.Think i listed the P/N for the 90 cased unit and may have posted a link to the autozonw page as well.If not then holla and i'll pass it on think a new unit is in the neighborhood of 175 but i slept since then. Also what i did was since the 90 alt was dead i gutted the 180 case and swaped everthing but the wire wound core to the 90 case and the thing bench tested at advance with a 50 amp load at over 140 amps more like 150ish.But their motor's rpm's are higher than the RO at idla.It did test at auotzone and advance with a lowest output of 132ish amps.Still need to go back and see if that was at idla or not. Also testing was done in car AFTER an over an hr drive back from work on the interstate at speeds avreagein 75 mph.(low end)So everything was all warmed up.

I'll have to try it, I'm pretty sure I got this one (using your pics):

The other one looks like it was a 124 Amp alternator, also a CS144.
