ok well i was putting a new valve cover on my v8 82 camaro berlinetta on the passengers side behind the alternator i was sliding it into place when it came into contact with the terminal on the back of the alternator and arced so i moved it out of contact disconnected the negative battery terminal and finished putting that in. then when i had to go to work and tried to start it it woldnt start and nothing besides the lights ( interior and headlights) work the windows wont go up and down the parking brake light and choke lights that usually go on when the ignition is on dont go on and the fans for the climate control and windows also dont work
i already checked the fuses and everything is fine and i also cant find the fusable link between the alternator and the starter
