changing/setting ECM/PROM???

Car: 1987 Camaro, 1986 Trans AM
Engine: V6 2.8 multi-port and V8 5.0 FI
Transmission: 5-Speed and Automatic
Axle/Gears: no idea
changing/setting ECM/PROM???
Who can i bring my ecm/prom to have it changed to my new specifications. Like adding performance parts and wanting to change the fan switch temperature???

There are several vendors that will do if for you, but.... They will charge you more then it will cost to buy the equipment to do it yourself.. Plus, changing the fan temperature takes about 3 seconds, and you have the ability to keep learning as you go.

Ok thanks, any idea what kind of equipment or what is the easiest way to access the ECM?

You will need some software to edit the bins.. I use tunerpro rt.
You will also need either an aldl cable and chip burner, or an ostrich. The ostrich is a realtime chip emulator that replaces the stock chip and interfaces via usb. You can read all about it at that link.
