Speedometer/mileage tach not working?

All my other gauges work fine, but my speedometer won't work & mileage tach won't "roll"? What's the problem?

Id check the speedo cable first. Pull out the cluster and make sure its still attached to the speedo. If not, pop it back in.

Couple things:

Do you have Cruise Control? If so, the Speedo cable goes through the Cruise Transducer (located in front of Driver side front strut tower) there could be binding in the transducer.

Also, I have had binding in the cable between the transducer and the transmission as well.

I do have Cruise control & the lever is actual broken off where it goes into the steering column. That's probably exactly what it is. Thanks for the reply!
