third brake light wiring
I have an 86 Camaro that I need to install the third brake light in order to get it inspected. I have a unit but I cannot find the wire that plug into it.
Can anyone help me locate these wires without tearing the interior apart?

It’s located immediately forward of where the 3rd idiot light is mounted.
It comes out of the small square hole.
You probably bot your car used therefore the
previous driver might have
removed the wire, but more than likely it is there but has pulled back.
If so, and if you only need the idiot light functioning for inspection
you can connect a temporary wire from the normal
brake lights to the idiot light.
( I run all my cars without the idiot light. )
