My Horn doesnt work!!!

I checked the horns and they seem to be working, I did a 12v test on one of the horns and it makes a funny noise and other times it doesnt work at all. Whats between the steering wheel button and the horn that might now be working and how do you get to it to fix it? I'm thinking it might be the steering wheel button because it look like the two metal peices are jammed down and kinda wrecked.

Also another thing. Can a broken cigar lighter make the fuse burn out when you place in that slot? I had a fuse that kept burning out and I was trying to find out what it was so I started fooling around with the lighter(pushing it in and out if the lighter slot) and the lights dimed(the ones connected to the same fuse) looking like it was about to burn out.

Sounds like you might have a couple of horn issues. Replace any missing or damaged steering wheel horn contact parts and replace the defective horn. Most of these parts you can get from a wrecking yard or as new replacement parts through a number of retail and online sources.

The cig heating elements fail and will at times cause the fuse to blow when inserted into the receptacle.
