Alarm removal
My car has an alarm on it, that was badly installed by the way, that has some componets missing. I'd like to take everything that's left off of the car but am wondering what if any problems I might have with the normal system operations. It's also got a bunch of stereo stuff that needs to come off, but that will be easy, I think.

Removing an alarm is usually no problem. It's just the obvious matter of restoring the original wiring; removing alarm wires & devices, and splicing any original wires that have been cut.

That's kind of what I thought, but was really looking for reassurance. This is my first computer equipped muscle car, with an LO3 I'm not sure that's the right terminology. Sometimes it's tempting to just put a carb on it cause I understand them, but TBI mods and especially chip burning sound interesting.
