Passenger side block and head sensors. Wires Cut Need help.

SO on my passenger side under the car i found 2 wires having down and 2 sensors one was in the lower block right aboved the lip for the oil pan to mate agaist. Knock sensor? (im no shure if its the knock sensor but thats whats ive gotten from everything sofar) Please correct me if im worng

And the other was at the top in the cylander head between 8 adn 6 which i found to be the secondary cooling fan switch.

Now i found 2 wires on this side one was black and one was white or close to white.

No which sensor do each of these wire run to

Black to fan switch and white to knock sensor?

Thanks and where could i buy new sensor/switches with the plug and wire to hook them all back up? Thanks

Also ive heard of a lower tempature switch for the seconday fan?

there is also an oil pressure switch with two wires on driver side just above the oil filter, spade ends

but yeah you will have a knock sensor if its 85 or so and up

and temp switches in both heads, rear of the head(for fan) on pass side and middle of head on driver side(for dash)

and so on

wire plugs you may be able to find some at parts store, if not then junk yard

switches are sold at parts stores most are around 20 bucks each

you can look them up online and get an idea of price at advanceauto.com
in which is parts america

good luck

hum, thats pretty risky, imho

ground the wrong one and say bye bye to the ECM or a fuse-able link, etc.

good luck

Yea i actually just located some information the white wire goes to the knock senso and the black wire goes to the fan switch. The white wire had the plug still on it and i pluged it into the knock sensor today i wonder how much its helping of it it even works will the knock sensor cause the car TPI to be hard to start? Elongated cranking periods before firing?
