Bypassing VATS w/o resistor
I am working on a car for some one and they are out of town until October. They left with their key with the chip and mailed it back, problem is it never got here and now I am unable to move the car.
Can I just completely wire around the VATS or do I HAVE to wire in a resistor? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Bypassing VATS w/o resistor
you can get something to wire it out supposedly from ebay for 30 bucks it sends a signal that your supposed to get from the bypass box. But wiring in a resistor is not so hard as long as you have the key and the box is working. I'm waiting on the box that sends the signal becuase my passkey is dead i will let you know if it works when i get it.
