Hi,

I have a 1984 Trans Am.
There is a terminal behind the instrument cluster in one of the
connectors for the seat belt. (fasten belts)
How does it work? What is on that wire if the indicator is lighting
in the instrument cluster? GND or +12V?

If you go to our ATGO wiring diagram page, you will find a lots of diagrams there. Specifically, the "Fig16 1984 body wiring" diagram shows the "fasten belts" indicator. It is driven by the Audio Alarm Assembly in the Convenience Center that sends 12V to the bulb through a yellow wire. The seatbelt switch sends a grounding signal to the Audio Alarm Assembly through the black wire but I am not sure whether it's with the seat belt buckled or unbuckled, it doesn't show.

Actually, right now, Texais COLDER than Central Europe. We have 5*C here at this moment (11:30am). Unbelievable. And the temperatures are supposed to "climb" up to 7*C. CCCCCCCOLD!!!! I want my 30*C back!!
