msd wiring problem
msd wiring problem
when i bought my car it had an msd box bolted on but not wired to it. i know where the red and black wires go. but theres a green wire that i dont know where it goes then theres a single black wire with a plug on the end of it. then theres four wires (red black orange and white) this plug doesnt fit anywhere on my distributor. plz help thnx in advance.

Do the black wire with a plug, and the green wires come out of the same hole in the case? on the left side of the box? Next to the tach output? Could the black wire be a dirty violet wire?
They would be for the magnetic trigger. The connector should have both wires in it.
The white wire would be for the elecric trigger, the red is ign. (heavy pink wire). The orange goes to the coil +,(B+) and the black goes to the coil -, (C -).
It would help to know the dist.

its the regular stock distributor. part number 1103679. ok i found out the black wire with the plug isnt a black wire its a green and violet wire covered in a black wire cover. on that same side of the box there is another green wire and then the other side has the connector. i dont know much about msd's or distributors so any info helps. thnx
