My problem with my P/N switch is that the only way that the engine will crank over in neutral is if i shift up from drive into neutral. If i shift down into neutral it wont work. Starts everytime in park however. Can my problem be that it is misadjusted?

 

Sounds to me that your switch is going bad. In the near future you going to try to start your car and it wont

 

Should i swap mine with one from the junkyard? Would i have to adjust it if i did this?

 

I would just buy it from gm, but thats me. I dont think there is any adjustment on them its just a bolt on.
