Headlight replacement
Basicly I've been reading about the H1, H4, Xenon, Silverstar, HID... Etc...
All I want to do is take out those foggy and stained lights and put some new ones in there. But I don't want some yellow garbage ones. I would like to get some bright white or the slightly tinted blue ones.
I've got the basics of what HID and such is, but for me I've got more important things to build/buy then bust $500 on my headlights.
So what I'm asking is, what is the most practical way for me to get my true white beams?
And if you know, can you point me in the direction where I can hook these up. Maybe some names and who not.
Thanks mates

AutoMall Inc. on ebay has replacement housings that take the white halogen type bulbs. A pair with bulbs was under $100.00

You can buy "Cool Blue" and "Silverstar" headlights in the basic, regular-type, sealed beam headlights that our cars use at any auto parts store. They're nice and bright, and they're priced about the same as simply buying a replacement headlight. So that would be your simplest, least expensive route to take, IMO.

I'm actually looking at doing the SAME THING as you right now. One of my lightbulb's normal light is out (brights work though), so I'm going to go ahead and get a new set. Like you, I'm tossing the nasty yellow ones and getting some pure white/semi blue lights. I'll keep you posted with what I do, but one thing that you can't stress enough...
You get what you pay for.. unless the topic is prostitution.. Besides being overpriced sometimes, there are always those possibilities of medical bills, or child support 20 years later that comes out of NOWHERE.
But back on topic.. I wouldn't buy some $25 enhanced lightbulbs if just typical stock OEM ones would cost more. They "sound" VERY promising, but if you've dealt with sound systems, paintjobs.. A LOT.. you'd understand just the reason why people charge what they charge.

Re: Headlight replacement
hey I have a camaro and a Cordoba and they both use h4656 as low beams and I installed the headlights on my cordoba and they look yellowish to me? whats up with that is it my wiring or is that how the sealed beams look? I dont know the wiring seems fine to me they just look slighty less yellow than stock an anyhelp I tried them on my camaro and it still doesnt look white my cars were off though so I dont know if it looks better with the car engine on. THEY are silverstars though I bought them from online and then I went to autozone to buy another pair to see if there was a difference
