quick distributor wiring question

quick distributor wiring question
a buddy of mine is swapping from his tpi setup to carb. and is wanting to know if the grey connector with the two wires are the wires he needs to hookup for his new hei power and tach feeds.i believe his is a 87

if the connector has red and yellow wires going to it then the red is power i just did mine but i dont have a tach so i dont know if the yellow one is tach but i assume it is. check to make sure that the red wire only has power when the key is on before you do it .
