HELP!! CAR IS STUCK 2 HOURS AWAY FROM HOME!!!

I was driving my 84 camaro away from the Tags after I filled it up and it just died. I thought maybe that it stalled so I shut it off and restarted and it acted like my battery was dead. So I pushed it into a parking stall and tried to figure it out and after checking the battery I went to the fuse boxe and saw that i had one wire that burned through most of my wires and melted any wire that was in contact with it along with the some of the fuse box.
And I was wondering how much it would cost to totally rewire the vehicle along with a new fuse box.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I don't quite understand your problem. In your fuse box, every wire has burnt through? And as for rewiring your car, you'll have to trace every wire and run new wire through. I don't think it's ridiculously hard, more inconvenient, and then it's just a matter of buying the proper colored wire and soldering to all the contacts.

Good luck.

no i have a wire that burnt my fuse box and all the wires it touched. The engine has been swapped and he put a pro-link system in it. From what I could tell it shut the battery off when you turned a switch on in the car. That wire that led from the pro link (which is right at the battery. the pro link i mean) burned through every wire it touched and also melted my fuse box. I attempted to fix it but......2 hours away from home without the appropiate tools and equipment....I was sunk in the water.
I hope that cleared some stuff up
